Everyone loves a great resale shop and that is just who we need to volunteer in our Gracious Gifts Resale Shop, located inside the Mamie George Community Center. The shop provides senior adults with affordably priced personal items and gifts. Our volunteers sort, price, and display donated items. Being in the gift shop is a good way to get to know the seniors of the community center.
To be successful, volunteers should:
- Ability to be trained to use a cash register/cashier
- Be able to handle small amounts of money
- Be friendly & courteous
