Important: Applying here is just to show interest in completing an internship with Catholic Charities. Final determination will be based on availability and successful completion of all internship requirements.

- A resume detailing your academic experience, including whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Your college/university's Affiliation Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding.
- A brief statement describing your internship requirements.
When you have completed these three (3) steps, please send an email to Mark Osborne at mosborne@catholiccharities.org expressing your interest in completing an internship with Catholic Charities.
Your email and documents will be forwarded to the intern supervisor of the program for which you are applying. A representative of the program will contact you for an interview and provide additional instructions.
Internship Description: Blessed Beginnings - Family Support Specialist Intern
- Learn Texas Pregnancy Care Network’s BriteWorks system to sign in clients
- Assist staff with initial intakes for clients, specifically clients from the food pantry
- Assist with organizing class curriculum materials
- Drive off-site to other facility locations to assist staff providing services to clients
- Help prepare material assistance for clients
- Assist staff with the preparation of classroom and during class with children
- Maintain resources directory and handouts
- Assist staff in providing emergency assistance for walk-ins and assist through intake process
- Answer intake line to provide program information with staff supervision
- Assist with various office projects
Qualifications:
- Graduate-level student
- Ability to work well with cooperatively with staff, clients, and volunteers
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions
Strong preference will be shown to applicants who are bilingual in Spanish and English. This is a non-clinical internship.

As a pro-life agency that honors every single human being with the dignity and respect they deserve, we are dedicated to providing the support and education parents need to have happy, healthy babies and children. Our program focuses on the critical time period from the woman’s pregnancy through the age of five—a child’s most formative years.
