Jardin de la Vida Volunteer Gardener

Description

If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, help us grow our community garden! You will help plant and care for plants that produce fruits & vegetables used in our food pantry or as a part of a healthy lunch for senior adults.

  • Volunteers are most needed Wednesday mornings 8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M.
  • Monday       8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M.
  • Wednesday 8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M.
  • Friday         8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. (May 15th through September 25th) 

No experience necessary! Just being a reliable volunteer and able to take direction is all that is needed.

  • Must be able to work outside in morning weather (8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M.) while being on your feet and bending to pick vegetables
  • No heavy lifting involved
  • Garden is organic except for ant killer and some fertilizer
