Description

Catholic Charities’ St. Frances Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance provides a diverse array of immigration legal services in greater Houston. Our experienced corps of attorneys and legal professionals provide free and low-cost legal services to children who arrived in the U.S. alone, families seeking immigration assistance, crime victims, asylum seekers, and immigrants seeking to become U.S. citizens.

The Cabrini Center seeks the assistance of pro bono attorneys for both litigation and administrative cases.

  • Asylum cases, both affirmatively through the Houston Asylum Office and defensively with the Immigration Court.
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, for juveniles who have been abandoned or abused by their parents in their home countries.
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, for young people brought to the United States as children.

If you would like to do virtual only, please let us know.

If you are interested in doing work as an individual attorney or as a firm, please contact Mark Osborne, Volunteer Manager at mosborne@catholiccharities.org.
