Program Intake volunteers will work with staff to determine client eligibility for the Family Assistance Program at Trini's Market (food pantry). Program Intake volunteers will meet one-on-one with clients at the community center to enter their information into the Houston Food Bank software and schedule their first appointment to receive groceries, if eligible.
Program Intake volunteers must:
- Be culturally sensitive and enjoy working with people of various backgrounds
- Be comfortable using a computer including typing, navigating the internet, and entering information
- Keep client information confidential
Being bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is not required, but would be a big help for our clients.
