Students attend Houston ISD and Alief ISD schools, but the afterschool program takes place at off-site locations, such as churches, apartment complex facilities, etc. Generally, students are in 1st to 7th grades (7- to 12-year-olds).

LOCATION: Westchase area near S. Gessner and Westpark Tollway. The physical address will be provided once volunteers are fully cleared.

We need volunteers who are helpful, compassionate, and good with children. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and meet all Catholic Charities qualifications, including a criminal background check, TB test, and drug screen.

If interested, please contact Ashlie Gutierrez at agutierrez@catholiccharities.org to set up an interview with staff of School Impact Services.
