Becoming a Catholic Charities Volunteer
- Create a USER PROFILE in the volunteer portal.
- Acknowledge receiving the VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK.
- Attend VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION.
Many opportunities also require a criminal background check and online training on recognizing and reporting instances of abuse and neglect of vulnerable populations. A complete list of qualifications may be found in each volunteer opportunity description in the portal.
PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers may not begin a placement until they complete all required paperwork, screenings, qualifications, and/or trainings.
